怀恋段学复先生在西南联大的事迹

摘　　要：在艰苦的抗日战争之中,肩负着民族文化的延续和救亡图存使命的国立西南联合大学夹缝而生,它存在的8年零11个月,为中国的发展培养了大批优秀的数学科学人才,段学复就是其中之一.段学复是我国数学家和教育学家,被誉为我国近代群表示论的奠基人,中国科学院的院士兼民盟主要成员.他不仅重视对人才的招募和培养,同时也热衷于教学,为我国中学的数学教育事业提出了很多宝贵的建议,虽然段先生已经离开我们18年了,但他在西南联大期间的贡献和成就,不仅在当时引起了广泛的关注和赞誉,而且至今仍然在中国教育史和科学史上留下了难以磨灭的印记.2023年恰逢西南联大在昆建校的八十五周年,我们深怀怀念他的人格、思想和事迹.During the arduous War of Resistance Against Japan,National Southwest Associated University(NSAU),tasked with preserving national culture and aiding in the nation s salvation,emerged amidst great adversity.Over its 8 years and 11 months of existence,it nurtured numerous outstanding talents in mathematics and science essential to China s development.Among these was Duan Xuefu,a mathematician and educator recognized as the founder of China s modern group representation theory.An academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and a prominent member of the NLD,Duan Xuefu was deeply committed to talent recruitment and education.He was passionate about teaching and offered many valuable insights into mathematics education for Chinese middle schools.Although Mr.Duan has been gone for 18 years,his contributions and achievements at NSAU continue to resonate.His work not only garnered widespread acclaim during his time but also left an enduring legacy in China s educational and scientific history.In 2023,on the 85th anniversary of the founding of NSAU in Kunming,we honor his extraordinary character,profound ideas,and remarkable deeds,cherishing the indelible impact he made.
