摘　　要：彩陶中的元符号具有发生学意义,能够变换、延展成无限样式的“母题性”符号。元符号的生成、组合与编码是彩陶纹样设计的三个阶段,也是破译装饰密码的关键步骤。从空间流变与历史承袭两个维度中,确证由彩陶元符号的“基因重组”创造了灿烂的华夏文化,因此以史前时期最重要的符号表征—彩陶,为典型文本研究“元体系”的相关概念是追溯中华文化基因的重要路径。The meta-symbols in painted pottery possess genetic significance,which can be transformed and extended into infinite patterns,serving as“motific”symbols.The generation,combination and coding of meta-symbols are the three stages of painted pottery pattern design and also the key step in deciphering decorative codes.From the two dimensions of spatial evolution and historical inheritance,it can be affirmed that the“genetic recombination”of painted pottery meta-symbols created the splendid Chinese culture.Therefore,taking prehistoric painted pottery,the most important symbolic representation of the prehistoric period,as a typical object to study the related concepts of the“meta-system”is an important path to trace the genetic elements of Chinese culture.
