摘　　要：小城镇的发展演化是外部发展环境和内部集体行动共同作用的结果。新发展环境下,对小城镇的空间特征予以有效识别与及时研究,能够为小城镇的转型发展提供重要支撑。文章以长三角地区为例,在剖析新发展环境内涵、构建演化认知框架的基础上,揭示小城镇加速分化趋势下产生的多维演化特征,并重点介绍小城镇的集群化组织、特色小城镇涌现、产镇融合加速、撤制镇发展错位等现象。面对外部环境变动加速、内部利益诉求分化等诸多现实约束,认为必须加快探索与构建以内生动力为基础的整体发展框架和地方实践路径,并从空间趋势研判、制度政策创新、环境品质提升、规划分类引导等方面提出长三角地区小城镇转型的基本思路和应对策略。The development and evolution of small towns are the results of the combined effects of external development environments and internal collective actions.In the new development environment,effectively identifying and timely researching the spatial characteristics of small towns can provide crucial support for their transformation process.Taking the Yangtze River Delta region as an example,the article,based on the analysis of the new development environment’s connotations and the construction of an evolutionary framework,reveals the multidimensional evolution characteristics under the accelerated differentiation trend of small towns and focuses on phenomena such as the clustering organization of small towns,the emergence of characteristic small towns,the acceleration of town-industry integration,and the development dislocation of merged towns.In response to numerous realistic constraints,such as the accelerated changes in the external environment and the differentiation of internal interest demands,the article proposes that it is necessary to expedite the exploration and construction of an overall development framework and local practice paths based on endogenous motivation,and suggests basic ideas and strategies for the transformation of small towns in the Yangtze River Delta region from aspects such as spatial trend judgment,institutional and policy innovation,environmental quality improvement,and classified planning guidance.
