中华传统声训“音近义通”和“因声求义”的理念在十堰(郧阳)历史文化研究中的作用不容小觑——历史文化研究方法论(之一)  

The Role of Traditional Chinese Phonetics Concepts“Sound Approximates Meaning”and“Seeking Meaning through Sound”in the Historical and Cultural Research of Shiyan(Yunyang District)—Methodology of Historical and Cultural Research(I)

摘　　要：为了说明中华传统声训理念在十堰(郧阳)历史文化研究中的重要性,本文特列举了如下事例,这些事例全是在中华传统声训理念的指导下进行的:(1)郧县肖家河春秋古墓铭文所引起的争论及其铭文破解的过程;(2)唐人張守节、清人段玉裁、今人钱穆对《史记》中“郧关”实指的研究,以及其研究成果对《辞源》《辞海》等文籍对郧地错误记载的纠正;(3)“十堰”语源于“石堰”,清时臣下向朝廷上呈的奏文中多次提到“石堰”;(4)十堰部分乡镇古代历史的研究。To illustrate the importance of traditional Chinese phonetics concepts in the historical and cultural research of Shiyan City(especially in Yunyang District),this paper presents the following examples,all guided by these concepts:(1)The debates surrounding the inscriptions of ancient tombs from the Spring and Autumn period in Xiaojiahe Village,Yunyang District,and the process of deciphering these inscriptions;(2)The studies by Tang scholar Zhang Shoujie,Qing scholar Duan Yucai,and contemporary scholar Qian Mu regarding the actual reference of“Yunguan”(The area around Yunyang District in Shiyan City,especially near Dianzihe Village in Qingqu Town.)in the Records of the Grand Historian,as well as their contributions to correcting the misrecordings of Yunyang District in lexicons such as Etimology and Lexicon;(3)The etymology of“Shiyan”(ten weirs)derived from“Shiyan”(stone weir)(In Chinese,stone and ten has the similar pronunciation),which is frequently mentioned in memorials presented to the court during the Qing dynasty;(4)Research on the ancient history of certain towns and villages in Shiyan City.
