摘　　要：着力营造诚实守信的社会环境,对于助力城市创新的持续发展,进而加快创新型国家建设具有重要意义。本文在理论分析社会信任影响城市创新内在机制的基础上,采用中国231个地级市样本数据,实证分析了社会信任对城市创新的影响。研究发现,社会信任对城市创新有显著的正向影响,并且在控制了内生性问题以及替换相关变量以后,这一结果依然稳健;社会信任对城市创新的影响具有明显的地区异质性,东中部地区的社会信任有显著的正向影响,而西部地区影响并不显著。机制检验表明,社会信任通过提高金融支持和消费需求两条路径,促进了城市创新。本文结论为政府相关部门健全社会信任体系,进而促进创新型城市的建设提供政策启示。In order to explore the potential relationship between social trust level and urban innovation,based on the theoreti-cal analysis of the internal mechanism of social trust influencing urban innovation,this paper empirically analyzes the impact of so-cial trust on urban innovation using the sample data of 231 prefecture-level cities in Chinese mainland from 2005 to 2016.The re-sults show that social trust has a significant positive impact on urban innovation,and the results remain robust after controlling for endogenous problems and replacing related variables.There is obvious regional heterogeneity in the impact of social trust on urban innovation.Social trust has a significant positive impact in the eastern and central regions,while it has no significant impact in the western regions.The mechanism test shows that social trust promotes urban innovation through increasing financial support and con-sumer demand.The conclusions of this paper provide policy enlightenment for relevant government departments to improve the so-cial trust system and promote the construction of innovative cities.
