摘　　要：To address climate change,Japan and China have set carbon neutrality goals for 2050 and 2060,respectively.To achieve these goals,the city gas industries in both China and Japan are under pressure to undertake low-carbon transition.Notably,the Japanese government and the Japanese city gas industry regards synthetic e-methane as a crucial strategic direction for achieving carbon neutrality and have established a scale-up mechanism.
