摘　　要：在我国第10个烈士纪念日前夕,习近平总书记给中国人民公安大学在读英烈子女重要回信。习近平总书记重要回信精神有其重要的时代价值,其核心要义从价值、原则、目标三个维度集中体现了新时代培养什么样的忠诚卫士、怎样培养忠诚卫士、为谁培养忠诚卫士三个基本问题的现实思考和时代回应,这三个基本问题是内在统一的,有其严密的内在逻辑。培养新时代卓越忠诚卫士需大力弘扬公安英模精神,奋力锻造新时代公安铁军,自觉践行使命担当,奋力书写平安中国新篇章,永做党和人民的卓越忠诚卫士。Ahead of the tenth Martyrs'Day of China,Xi Jinping,the general secretary of CPC Central Committee,wrote an important reply letter to heroic martyrs'children who were then studying at the People's Public Security University of China.The spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important reply letter conveys the important values of this new era,with the core essence reflecting realistic deliberations on and responses to three fundamental questions from the perspectives of value,principle,and objective.Namely,"what sort of loyal guardians do we need to cultivate?","how should we cultivate the loyal guardians?",and"for whom should we cultivate such loyal guardians?".These three questions are inherently unified and have a rigorous internal logic.To cultivate outstanding and loyal guardians who better meet the requirements of the new era,we must vigorously carry forward the noble spirit of heroic martyrs,strive for the building of an"iron army"of the police force,consciously fulfill our mission and shoulder responsibilities,write a new chapter in the implementation of the Peaceful China initiative,and always serve as outstanding and loyal guardians of the CPC and the people.
