摘　　要：To the Editor:The Omicron variant of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)spread worldwide during the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic.Experts agree that the Omicron variant is less pathogenic and has a shorter incubation period,making it more likely to cause upper respiratory tract infections.
