摘 要:南北朝时期长江上游川西北高原与甘青高原以及和北魏西部相连接地区分布着众多的民族群体,被历史学家称为“西部诸戎”。南北朝时期多个政权分立,多个政权南北对峙的政治格局是当时历史发展的重要特征,但是各个政权都没有能力有效地对“西部诸戎”分布区进行治理,在这样的历史背景下,“西部诸戎”成为局部地区的强大政治力量,其分布区成为南朝与西域民族和北方草原民族交往交流的重要通道,并以政治关系为中心展开了民族的交往交流交融,这说明即使是在南北朝时期中华民族共同体的发展也没有停滞,中华民族共同体内部的交往交流交融仍在进行,如果从中华民族多元一体格局的理论来看,局部地区的相对稳定和发展对于下一个历史阶段的大发展是在进行着大一统国家建设的量的积累,同样也推动着中华民族共同体的发展。The Southern and Northern Dynasties were among the most complex and diverse historical phases in the context of ethnic relations within multi-ethnic China.Historians categorize ethnic groups in the areas adjoining the northwest plateau of Sichuan,the Gansu-Qinghai plateau,and the western part of Northern Wei along the upper reaches of the Yangtze River as the“Western Rongs”.Powerful political groups among the“Western Rongs”include the Tuyuhun,the Yang family group of the Di people,and the political groups of the Qiang people.Amid the complex political landscape of the Southern and Northern Dynasties these ethnic political groups interacted and exchanged with various political regimes of the Northern Wei and Southern Dynasties,centering around political relations for ethnic communication and integration.This article considers that several aspects merit attention when studying the communication,exchange,and integration of the“Western Rongs”during this period.Firstly,the emergence of the“Western Rongs”as an important political force in the western region was intertwined with the separation of multiple political powers then.This is because the regimes of the Southern and Northern Dynasties did not have the power to effectively govern the areas where the“Western Rongs”resided,enabling them to become a powerful force in certain regions,changing the geopolitical pattern of the western region.From the perspective of the theory of the unity-in-diversity pattern of the Chinese nation,the relative stability and development of certain regions can be seen as a positive and significant accumulation of the quantity of unified construction for the next historical stage.Secondly,official historical records such as the“Book of Song,”“Book of Southern Qi,”and“Book of Liang”carried forward Sima Qian's tradition of community narrative,adhered to the national ideological concept that“China”is the orthodox,and regarded the Southern Dynasty as the orthodox of“China.”Therefore,they continuously con
