求偶动机对女性进食态度的影响:同性竞争和身体比较的作用

摘　　要：近年来,进食障碍高发于女性群体,然而其治疗手段和效果较为有限。进食与女性身材管理密不可分,而女性身材管理又与其求偶动机息息相关。因此,为探索求偶动机对女性进食态度的影响,研究1采用回忆法启动123名健康成年女性的求偶动机发现,启动求偶动机后口腔控制增强;研究2采用求偶动机量表、同性竞争问卷、身体外貌比较问卷及进食态度问卷调查662名成年女性发现,同性竞争和身体比较在求偶动机和进食态度之间起链式中介作用,同性竞争有独立的中介作用。两个研究均表明女性进食态度受求偶动机影响,结果有助于理解进食障碍在女性群体的高发原因,并为干预提供理论依据。Eating disorders have emerged as a prevalent condition among women over the past decade.However,the therapeutic approaches available and their efficacy are constrained.Given the intimate connection between eating behaviors and body image management,and the substantial effect of body image on women's mate seeking,this research aims to explore the effect of mating motivations on women's eating attitudes.In Study 1,a recall methodology was used on a sample of 123 healthy adult females to stimulate their mating motivations.The outcomes demonstrated that mating motivations sway female eating attitudes,particularly enhancing their oral control.Study 2 conducted a questionnaire survey with 662 adult women,utilizing Mating Seeking scale,Intrasexual Competition Scale,Physical Appearance Comparison Scale,and Eating Attitudes Test with 26 items.The results indicated that intrasexual competition and physical comparison acted as sequential mediators between mating motivations and female eating attitudes,with intrasexual competition presenting a partial mediating role.Both studies consistently conclude that women’s eating attitudes are affected by their mating motivations,with more potent mating motivations leading to stricter eating attitudes.This research contributes empirical data on the role of evolutionary factors in shaping eating behaviors,aids in comprehending the etiology of eating disorders,and provides a foundational basis for developing interventions.
