国际学术流动经历能否促进科研产出?——海外博士后与本土博士后的追踪对比分析

摘　　要：国际学术流动之于青年学者的学术职业发展重要性日益凸显,已逐渐形成“不流动则出局”的趋势。本研究基于一项针对390名理工学科博士后的追踪调查,采用熵平衡匹配方法分析国际学术流动经历对科研产出的影响。研究发现,在顶级期刊上的发表数量、领域加权引用和加权篇均被引等指标方面,海外博士后群体显著优于本土博士后群体,通过国际学术流动所建立的国际和国内双重科研合作网络是这一优势的重要来源。同时,海外博士后的发表策略发生了变化,他们在博士阶段的科研产出显著更高,但博士后期间的产出数量显著更低。此外,进一步研究发现,尽管女性海外博士后发表的论文质量更高,然而女性博士后的国际流动意愿显著弱于男性,未能充分享受到国际学术流动所带来的增益。The increasing importance of international academic mobility for the career development of young scholars has led to a trend where“flow or out”.This study,based on a follow-up survey of 390 postdoctoral researchers in the fields of biology and engineering,employs entropy balancing matching to analyze the impact of international academic mobility on research output.The findings reveal that postdoctoral researchers with international experience significantly outperform their domestic counterparts in terms of publications in top-tier journals,field-weighted citation impact,and weighted average citations per paper.The dual research collaboration networks established through international academic mobility are a crucial source of this advantage.Furthermore,the publication strategies of overseas postdoctoral researchers change;they have significantly higher research output during their doctoral stage but significantly lower output during their postdoctoral stage.The study also reveals that although female postdoctoral researchers with international experience produce higher quality papers,their willingness to engage in international mobility is significantly lower than that of their male counterparts,hindering their ability to fully benefit from the advantages of international academic mobility.These findings enhance the recognition of the benefits of international mobility during the postdoctoral stage and provide empirical evidence for policy-making to support postdoctoral international academic mobility.
