摘 要:鼓舞是湘西苗族常见的一种民间文化艺术形式,有着鲜明的民族特色和丰富的文化内涵。基于詹姆斯·凯瑞的传播仪式观,湘西苗族鼓舞文化的传播可被看作是一场仪式,通过声音、节奏、舞蹈、服饰、乐器等语言符号和非语言符号,以及蕴含其中的神话传说、民族历史、精神信仰等文化因子,重现集体记忆,让参与者产生情感共鸣、凝聚思想共识,进而增强身份认同和文化认同。同时,由于基础设施的改善、传播技术的发展、大型活动的举办、人口的流动和文化交流的日益密切,湘西苗族鼓舞文化的现代化与国际化传播,搭建了连接过去、现在与未来的记忆桥梁,增强了不同血缘、地域和民族参与者的凝聚力,形成了一个生机勃勃、团结稳定的文化共同体。这不仅让湘西苗族鼓舞文化在承继中焕发新生机,还对铸牢中华民族共同体意识和诠释人类命运共同体具有重要的意义。The drum dance is a prevalent form of folk culture and art among the Miao people in western Hunan,possessing distinct ethnic features and rich cultural connotations.It serves multiple purposes such as lyricism,storytelling,expelling evil,reasoning,and providing entertainment.Whether during festivals,weddings,rituals,or celebrations,as well as in daily leisure and social interactions,the Miao people engage in drumming and merriment,sometimes lasting throughout the night.However,despite its central role in the daily lives of the Miao people,research on Xiangxi Miao drumming culture remains relatively rare andunderdeveloped.This study adopts James Carey's"ritual view of communication"",thereby conceptualizing the dissemination of Xiangxi Miao drum dance culture as a collective ritual that reproduces memory,evokes emotional resonance,and consolidates shared ideas.It furthermore analyzes the linguistic and non-linguistic symbols involved,such as sounds,rhythms,dances,costumes,and musical instruments,to explore the national history,myths,legends,and spiritual beliefs embedded in the transmission process.The study found that these symbols do not denote a specific message but reflect a national spirit of the Miao people,which can be characterized by valor,perseverance,love of life,and reverence for the spirit of all living things。As part of the process of modernization and globalization,the improvement of infrastructure,the progress of communication technology,the organization of large-scale events,the mobility of populations,and the ever-closer cultural exchanges arguably have expedited the modernization and internationalization of the speading of Miao drum dance culture in western Hunan.This process has built a bridge of memory linking the past,present,and future,uniting participants from diverse backgrounds,regions,and nationalities and forming a vibrant,unified,and stable cultural community.This not only revitalizes the Miao drum dance culture in Xiangxi through heritage preservation but also plays a significant ro
