Preferential Treatment Work for Martyrs’Families and Military Subordinates in Northeast China during War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea

摘　　要：抗美援朝时期,地处战争前沿的东北地区优属任务繁重且紧迫。为了做好优属工作,东北地区各级领导高度重视,坚持从实际出发,与抗美援朝运动紧密结合,建立了一套包括组织网络、资金筹集、宣传动员和监督检查在内的制度,坚持以精神优待为主,物质优待为辅的原则,强调社会互助,动员广大人民群众积极参与,帮助和组织烈军属参加生产。优属工作不仅在很大程度上解决了烈军属的生活困难,还鼓舞了士兵的士气,有力地支援了抗美援朝。During the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea,the preferential treatment task in Northeast China,located at the frontlines of the war,was both heavy and urgent.To carry out this work well,leaders at all levels in Northeast China attached great importance to the work and took practical steps,closely integrating the preferential treatment work with the war effort.A comprehensive system was established that included organizational networks,fund raising,publicity,mobilization,supervision and inspection.The work followed the principle of prioritizing spiritual support,with material support as a supplement.It emphasized social mutual assistance,mobilized the public to actively participate and helped martyrs’families and military subordinates to engage in production work.This preferential treatment work not only solved the life difficulties of martyrs’and military families,but also boosted the morale of soldiers and effectively supported the war effort.
