Focusing on the deficiencies in the current technological processes and equipment for handling mine slurry in underground mines, this article proposes a comprehensive solution by utilizing theories of slurry flocculation sedimentation, stepped overflow, and pre-treatment.Through laboratory and industrial experiments, the study emphasizes tackling the problem of sump cleaning from its source by preprocessing coarse particles above 325 mesh(without entering the sump),which indirectly manages the sump.A set of unmanned underground coal slurry desilting system is researched and presented, with a key focus on the core equipment, the QCG scraper-type sump cleaner. This system adopts a strategy of"replacing manpower with mechanization and reducing staffing through automation,"enabling remote operation from a centralized control room on the ground, with video surveillance and no need for personnel in the mine.Ultimately, this system achieves a desilting cycle of over five years(or 5-10 years)for the sump, significantly reducing labor intensity for workers.Preprocessing coarse particles mitigates wear on multi-stage pumps.Regular cleaning(without the need to activate backup sumps)enhances the sump's resistance to water disasters, thoroughly addressing safety hazards in mines.
