摘　　要：人民政协民主监督伴随着政协的诞生和发展过程,经历过不同的发展阶段,制定了逐步完善的制度体系。新时代进一步加强人民政协民主监督工作的重大价值体现在:是坚持、完善和发展我国新型政党制度的迫切需要,是新征程上发展全过程人民民主的重要一环,是促进中国共产党科学执政和政府有效行政的重要方式,是补足政协履职短板、推动政协事业创新发展的重要抓手。Democratic supervision of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference(CPPCC),as a consultative inspection form conducted by political parties,groups,and individuals from all sectors participating in the CPPCC through the presentation of criticisms,opinions,and suggestions towards Party and government departments and their staff,remains one of the basic functions of the CPPCC,forming a major component of China's oversight system.Democratic supervision of the CPPCC has evolved along with its birth and development,undergoing various stages and establishing a progressively refined system of rules and regulations.In the new era,the CPPCC should further strengthen its democratic supervision,and the significant value lies in the following aspects.It is an urgent need to uphold,improve,and develop China's new-type party system;a crucial aspect of developing whole-process people's democracy on the new journey;an important way to promote the scientific governance of the Communist Party of China and effective administration of the government;and a vital method to address shortcomings in the CPPCC's performance of its duties and drive its innovative development.
