摘　　要：《英国工人阶级状况》是恩格斯深入英国工人阶级内部积极探索劳动人民生产生活状况的重要理论著作。恩格斯在《英国工人阶级状况》中通过亲身考察和体验英国工人的实际生活情势,明晰了劳动人民长期深陷精神生活贫困的悲惨境地。恩格斯认为,人民精神生活贫瘠的原因在于资本主义制度钳制劳动人民的精神生活发展,“工人阶级的愚昧无知”造成人民的落后精神生活状态,低俗的道德乱象诱发劳动人民精神素养低下。继而,恩格斯从根本前提、物质基础、基本途径和必要保障四个方面系统考察了实现人民精神生活富裕的合理化出路。恩格斯在《英国工人阶级状况》中关于人民精神生活问题的理论探索,对新时代我国寻求破解人民精神生活难题的科学路径,推进实现全体人民精神生活共同富裕具有重要现实启示。The Condition of the Working Class in England is an important theoretical work by Engels to explore the working people's production and living conditions deeply inside the working class in England.Engels,through his personal investigation and experience of the actual living conditions of British workers in The Condition of the Working Class in England,clarified the tragic situation of the working people being deeply trapped in spiritual poverty for a long time.Engels believes that the reason for the poor spiritual life of the people is that the capitalist system stifles the development of the spiritual life of the working people,and the‘ignorance of the working class'causes the backward spiritual life of the people and the vulgar moral chaos induces the low spiritual quality of the working people.Then,Engels systematically examined the rationalization of people's spiritual life from four aspects:fundamental premise,material foundation,basic approach,and necessary guarantee.Engels'theoretical exploration of people's spiritual life in The Condition of the Working Class in England has important practical enlightenment for our country to seek a scientific path to solve the problems of people's spiritual life in the new era so as to promote the realization of common prosperity of all people's spiritual life.
