摘　　要：随着无家可归者、精神病患者等弱势群体进入公共图书馆,公共图书馆的服务内容、服务方式亟须变革。通过与社会工作专业人员进行跨专业合作成功解决公共图书馆面临的巨大挑战,促使公共图书馆社会工作者的职业角色愈发普遍。文章运用文献分析法和网络调查法,分析美国公共图书馆社会工作者出现的社会环境,归纳公共图书馆吸收社会工作者的主要路径,介绍其实践情况和主要特点,从用户、员工、专业、组织、社会等方面阐释公共图书馆社会工作者的价值意蕴。结合我国国情,提出相应建议:承担社会责任,回应社会需求;加强多方合作,发挥社会合力;培养专业人才,探索学科融合;深化包容理念,促进服务均等。With the influx of homeless,mentally ill and other disadvantaged groups into public libraries,there is an urgent need to change what and how public libraries provide services.Successfully addressing the enormous challenges facing public libraries through inter-professional collaboration with social work professionals has contributed to the increasing prevalence of the professional role of social workers in public libraries.Using the methods of literature review and online survey,this paper analyzes the social environment in which social workers are employed in the US public libraries,summarizes the main ways in which social workers are involved in public libraries,and presents their practices and key characteristics.Focusing on users,staff,professionalism,organization,and society,it explains the values of social workers in public libraries.In the context of China’s national conditions,it puts forward some recommendations,such as assuming social responsibility and responding to social needs;strengthening multi-party cooperation and giving full play to social synergy;cultivating professionals and exploring the integration of disciplines;deepening the concept of inclusiveness and promoting the equal access to public libraries.
