摘  要:腰痛(low back pain)影响全球约1/10的人口,是导致残疾的重要原因[1-2]。手术是目前最有效的治疗方法,然而许多患者即使接受治疗,仍然忍受慢性疼痛、坐骨神经痛、功能限制等痛苦,生活质量大幅下降[3-4]。椎间盘退行性变(intervertebral disc degeneration,IDD)被认为是腰痛的重要诱因,约占腰痛患者的26%~42%[5]。Low back pain(LBP)is one of the most common health problems,and the leading cause of LBP is intervertebral disc degeneration(IDD).Intervertebral disc degeneration is the consequence of the joint action of factors such as genetics,environment and nutrition,resulting in changes in cell phenotype,inflammatory reactions,increased cell senescence and death,imbalance in the metabolic homeostasis of the extracellular matrix,alterations in the mechanical properties of the nucleus pulposus,and damage to the annulus fibrosus and endplates,eventually developing into intervertebral disc degeneration.Current studies indicate that inflammatory responses play a significant role in intervertebral disc degeneration.A variety of factors can unleash the NF-κB signaling pathway,then accelerate the release of proinflammatory factors,the accumulation of reactive oxygen species,and the degradation of extracellular matrix,causing cellular senescence and finally intervertebral disc degeneration.This article introduces the function,expression and role of NF-κB signaling pathway in intervertebral disc degeneration.
