摘　　要：文章深入探讨了法国汉学家爱德华·沙畹对敦煌学的重要贡献。沙畹凭借其卓越的语言能力,对所获得的敦煌文献的复制品进行了精确的翻译与深度解析,从而使敦煌文化在西方世界得以广泛传播。他的研究范围不仅涵盖了宗教文献的翻译与解读,还包括艺术考古领域,对敦煌的壁画和雕塑进行了全面探讨。沙畹的学术成就,尤其是他的跨学科研究方法,对敦煌学的后续研究产生了深远的影响,并为该领域的持续发展奠定了坚实的学术基础。This article explores the important contributions of French sinologist douard Chavannes to Dunhuang studies.Chavannes,with his exceptional linguistic abilities,provided precise translations and in depth analyses of the copies of Dunhuang texts he obtained,thereby facilitating the widespread dissemination of Dunhuang culture in the Western world.His research encompassed not only the translation and interpretation of religious texts but also the field of art archaeology,where he conducted comprehensive studies on Dunhuang’s murals and sculptures.Chavannes’s academic achievements,particularly his interdisciplinary research approach,have had a profound impact on subsequent research in Dunhuang studies and laid a solid academic foundation for the ongoing development of this field.
