时代精神的重释——论湖南现代话剧家对“古事”题材的书写

摘　　要：五四运动退潮之后,湖南现代话剧家继续追随五四时代精神的余绪,尝试从反映过去时代的人物、事件等“古事”的小说、民间传说和神话故事中攫取呼应启蒙主义精神的主题。无论是取材自曹雪芹《红楼梦》的《访雯》,源自民间神话《白蛇传》的《白蛇与许仙》,出自施耐庵《水浒传》的《潘金莲》,还是改编自汉乐府民歌叙事长诗《孔雀东南飞》的同名话剧,他们均以现代眼光、现代观念、现代心态和现代方式,对这些产自过往的人们耳熟能详的故事予以重新审视、解读与书写,其间体现出湖南话剧家群体创新、开拓的思维方式,不畏挑战传统的胆识以及身为文人的社会责任感与人道主义精神。After the May 4th movement,Hunan modern dramatists continued to follow the spirit of the May 4th movement,and attempted to extract themes echoing the spirit of enlightenment from novels,folktales and mythologies concerning the events of the past.Visiting Wen from Cao Xueqin’s Dream of the Red Mansions,the White Snake and Xu Xian from The Legend of White Snake,Pan Jinlian from Shi Nai’an’s Water Magins,and The Peacock Flies Southeast from the folk song of the same name in Han Dynasty,these well-known stories from the past are all re-examined,interpreted and written with modern vision,modern concept,modern mentality and modern way,which reflects the innovative and pioneering thinking,courage to challenge tradition,social responsibility and humanitarian spirit of Hunan dramatists as modern literati.
