摘 要:刀具磨损和刀具寿命在切削加工过程中起着至关重要的作用。然而,磨损机制受到许多因素的影响,如工艺参数、刀具几何形状、涂层性能以及刀具与工件的材料特性等。刀具经过钝化处理从而获得合适的切削刃微几何能够有效地提升刀具性能。最佳的切削刃微几何很大程度上取决于刀具涂层特性。然而,刀具涂层、微观几何形状和由此产生的刀具磨损之间的影响和关系尚未完全了解。这里通过系统地改变涂层类型及切削刃微观几何形状,并在相同切削工艺参数下探究刀具磨损情况,识别刀具磨损的重要影响变量。结果表明,刀具磨损取决于刃口微几何形状和涂层性能,根据涂层特性选择合适的刃口几何能够有效地提高刀具寿命。Tool wear and tool life play an important role in cutting process.However,the wear mechanism is affected by many fac⁃tors,such as process parameters,tool geometry,coating properties and material properties of tools and workpieces.The tool is pas⁃sivated to obtain the appropriate cutting edge micro geometry,which can effectively improve the tool performance.The optimal mi⁃cro geometry of cutting edge largely depends on the characteristics of tool coating.However,the influence and relationship be⁃tween tool coating,micro geometry and resulting tool wear are not fully understood.In this paper,by systematically changing the coating type and the micro geometry of the cutting edge,and exploring the tool wear under the same cutting process parame⁃ters,the important influencing variables of tool wear are identified.The results show that the tool wear depends on the edge micro geometry and coating properties.Selecting the appropriate edge geometry according to the coating characteristics can effectively improve the tool life.
