摘 要:射频功率放大器作为无线通信系统最关键的组成部分之一,提高其带宽与效率两项重要指标一直是设计功放的重点与难点。本文为适应多模通信的发展需求,分别在输入和输出加入PIN开关,利用开关的闭合和断开来实现不同波段的阻抗匹配。为验证该方法的有效性,采用CGH40010F GaN晶体管,设计出一款工作在0.94GHz&2.1GHz和1.1 GHz&3.3GHz的可重构双波段功率放大器,实验仿真结果表明,在可重构双波段功放的四个频段处,该功放的饱和功率附加效率(power added efficiency,PAE)均大于62%,饱和输出功率大于39.7dBm,增益在10.4 dB以上,验证了所提可重构功率放大器方法设计的有效性。RF power amplifier is one of the most important components of wireless communication system,improving its bandwidth and efficiency is always the focus and difficulty of designing power amplifier.In order to meet the development requirements of multimode communication,PIN switches are added to input and output respectively,and impedance matching of different bands is realized by closing and disconnecting the switches.To verify the effectiveness of the proposed method,a reconfigurable dual-band power amplifier operating at 0.94GHz&2.1GHz and 1.1GHz&3.3GHz is designed using CGH40010F GaN transistor.The experimental simulation results show that in the four frequency bands of the reconfigurable dual-band power amplifier,The power added efficiency(PAE)of the power amplifier is greater than 62%,the saturation output power is greater than 39dBm,and the gain is more than 10.4dB,The effectiveness of the proposed reconfigurable power amplifier method is verified.
