摘　　要：之江大学是近代中国一所重要的教会大学,取得了丰硕的办学成果。晚清民初,之江大学办学体制效仿北美,具有显著的国际化特征,堪称北美高等教育在中国的延伸。20世纪20年代,面对国内民族主义高企引发的“非基督教运动”的冲击与挑战,之江大学积极应对,与中国籍教职员分享管理和决策权力,激发他们参与学校事工的热情。随着北伐战争的持续推进,之江大学顺应形势,按照国民政府的要求对自身权力机构进行改组,制订新的学校组织大纲,废除宗教必修课程。完成内部改组后,之江大学通过了国民政府立案,获得了办学的合法身份。通过内部改组与外部立案,之江大学逐步植根于浙江地方社会,实现了本土化转型。Hangchow University was a prominent Christian university in modern China,achieving remarkable educational accomplishments.During the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China periods,Hangchow University’s educational system mirrored those of North America,exhibiting significant international characteristics and functioning as an extension of North American higher education in China.In the 1920s,confronted with the impact and challenges posed by the“anti Christianity movement”fueled by rising nationalism,Hangchow University actively addressed the situation by sharing management and decision making authorities with Chinese faculty and staff,thereby igniting their passion for participating in the school affairs.With the relentless progression of the the Northern Expedition,Hangchow University adapted to the circumstances and reorganized its own power structure in line with the Nationalist government’s directives.It formulated a new school organizational framework and abolished compulsory religious courses.Upon completion of its internal reorganization,Hangchow University registered with the Nationalist government,securing legal status for its educational endeavors.Through internal reorganization and external registration,Hangchow University gradually became entrenched in Zhejiang’s local society and accomplished its localization transformation.
