摘 要:清初四王延续董其昌的文人画文脉,尤为强调笔墨本身的图式意趣之美。传统山水的这种古典美包含了“有意味”的笔墨与“有生气”的哲思。四王这种看似保守的复古实则在明清鼎革之际异族政权统治下保存文化传统的现实考量,文脉的传承本身在特殊的语境下也是一种力量宣示。而现代中国画同样面临强势西方现代艺术的冲击,吴、张、刘、潘四老的笔墨探索与坚持,也是他们形成各自现代艺术观念的同时,对古典美的信仰与守持。In the early Qing Dynasty,Si Wang continued literati painting tradition founded by Dong Qichang,emphasizing the beauty of the pattern and interest of brushwork itself.The classical beauty of traditional landscape includes"meaningful"brushwork and"ively"philosophical thinking.The seemingly conservative retro style of the Si-Wang was actually a practical consideration for preserving cultural traditions under the rule of foreign regimes during the Ming and Qing dynasties.The inheritance of cultural context itself was also a force in the special historical context.Modern Chinese painting is also facing the impact of dominant Western modern art.The exploration and persistence of Wu,Zhang,Liu,and Pan's brushwork are also their beliefs and adherence to classical beauty underneath their ownmodernartisticconcepts.
