摘　　要：After nearly three decades,the Asian Winter Games(AWG)returned to Harbin,capital of China’s northeastern Heilongjiang Province,famously known as the“Ice City.”From the Third AWG in 1996,which saw 453 athletes from 17 countries and regions,to the Ninth AWG this year,featuring 1275 athletes from 34 countries and regions,Harbin has showcased the vigorous development of winter sports across Asia.
