唐太宗的封禅和唐代有关星象异动的文学书写

摘  要:封禅在封建时代是国之盛事,为历代帝王所重视。贞观十五年(641)准备已久的一次封禅,却因彗星的出现而被唐太宗叫停。其原因与唐代当时流行的星象之学有很大关系。太宗本人信奉星象学,并对星象中所昭示的政治斗争异常敏感。唐太宗晚年在太子李承乾与魏王李泰的政治斗争中处置不当,与此次星象异动有很大关系,而当时星象异动在现实问题(包括在太子选择上的诸多问题)的具体映射,为太宗所警惕,这可以对唐太宗的行为进行解释。另外,唐代封禅及星象成为文学书写的特色内容。Fengshan,or the ritual of offering sacrifices to Heaven and Earth,was a significant national event in the feudal era,valued by emperors throughout dynasties.In the 15th year of the Zhenguan era,or 641AD,a long prepared Fengshan ceremony was stopped by Emperor Taizong due to the appearance of a comet.This article analyzes the reasons of the suspension and believes that it was closely related to the popular astrological beliefs of the Tang Dynasty at that time.Emperor Taizong himself believed in astrology and was extremely sensitive to the political struggles manifested by celestial phenomena.His difficulties in dealing with the political conflict between Crown Prince Li Chengqian and Prince Wei Li Tai in his later years were greatly influenced by these astronomical anomalies,which served as a concrete reflection of real-world issues,including various problems in the selection of a crown prince.This awareness of celestial changes can help explain Taizong’s actions.Additionally,the themes of Fengshan and astrology became distinctive elements in literary writings of the period.
