摘 要:本文采用文献计量学视角和数据可视化技术,对中国知网(CNKI)中1987—2023年间的外语教育学相关文献展开分析,旨在通过对文献增长特征、主题演化过程、关键词共现网络、研究前沿突变检测等的探索来回答“外语教育学究竟已何为”这一问题。研究发现:(1)外语教育学及其相关研究呈现出精细化以及跨学科整合和融合倾向,并互为依托、相互促进;(2)外语教育学的发展具有明显的阶段性特征,关于其学科定位、内涵与外延、与外语教育技术学及其他二级学科相融合的研究,进一步促进了该学科的发展;(3)该学科具有体系相对完备、研究视角多元、研究内容丰富与关系探察相对充分等特点;(4)该学科中跨领域、跨学科、多视角、多界面的研究将会成为新的增长点,但其理论建构与学科体系化建设仍有待加强。本研究为外语教育学的顶层设计、总体布局等提供部分参考依据,其研究范式亦可作为学科或前沿研究主题发展状况梳理的参考。By using a bibliometric perspective and data visualization techniques to analyze relevant literature related to Foreign Language Education Studies from 1987 to 2023 in CNKI,the study focuses on growth characteristics of the literature,thematic evolution processes,co-occurrence network of keywords,and anomaly detection in research frontiers,aiming to answer the question“What has Foreign Language Education Studies achieved?”.The findings indicate that:(1)Research in Foreign Language Education Studies as a discipline and its related fields exhibits a trend of refinement and interdisciplinary integration,mutually supporting and promoting each other;(2)The development of Foreign Language Education Studies is marked by distinct phases,and research on its disciplinary positioning,connotations and extensions,integration with foreign language educational technology and other sub-disciplines further promotes the development of this discipline;(3)Foreign Language Education Studies demonstrates a relatively complete system,diverse research perspectives,rich research content,and sufficient exploration of relationships;(4)Research in this discipline will become a new growth point through cross-domain,interdisciplinary,multi-perspective,and multi-faceted approaches,although its theoretical construction and systematic development still need to be strengthened.The study provides some reference for the top-level design and overall layout of Foreign Language Education Studies,and its research paradigm may serve as a reference for sorting out the development status of any other disciplines or frontier research topics.
