摘  要:为解决当前电润湿电子纸显示灰度等级受驱动芯片限制和油墨回流影响,存在图像显示灰度等级丰富度不足,细节难以区分等问题,本文提出了一种用于电润湿电子纸的图像灰度信息自适应误差扩散技术。首先,对输入图像进行去噪和灰度化处理,以获得一个具有256级灰度的灰度图作为原始参考图;其次,通过亚像素边缘检测将图像细致地划分为边缘区域和平滑区域:本文强调了边缘区域,同时根据图像邻域灰度的变化,对平滑区域的纹理进行了优化,以符合人眼的局部视觉特性;最后,本文根据原始图像的灰度信息分布特点,调节阈值进行自适应误差扩散,以实现更精细的图像还原效果。实验结果表明,本算法处理后的图像在五分制的平均意见得分中获得4.2278分,图像峰值信噪比的平均值达45.9033 dB,相较于其他先进技术提升了16.47%~48.89%;平均视觉信息保真度达0.9643,相较于其他先进技术提升了1.53%~50.02%。本文所提方法使电润湿电子纸显示的图像边缘更加清晰、细节还原度更高,提升了电润湿电子纸的可读性。At present,the grayscale levels of electrowetting electronic paper are not enough to meet the display needs of mainstream images.Ink reflow also affects the image quality on electrowetting electronic paper,making it difficult to distinguish details,and leading to issues such as edge blur,loss of image de⁃tails,and a strong particle sense in the displayed image.In order to solve these problems,this paper pro⁃posed an adaptive error diffusion algorithm based on characteristics of the grayscale information distribution in images.First,in order to obtain a high-fidelity grayscale reference image with 256 levels,an input color image was denoised and grayscale processed.Second,we employed sub-pixel edge detection to meticu⁃lously segment the image into edge and smooth regions.This method emphasized the edge areas while si⁃multaneously enhancing the texture of smooth regions.This enhancement was tailored to align with the lo⁃cal visual characteristics of human eyes by considering the grayscale variations within the neighborhood of image.Last but not least,we adaptively adjusted the diffusion error threshold according to the grayscale information distribution characteristics of the reference image.This method reduced the error between the original reference grayscale image with 256 levels and the processed image.The experimental results showed that the images processed by this algorithm get 4.2278 in the mean opinion score of the five-grade scoring system.The average peak signal to noise ratio reached 45.9033 dB,marking a 16.47%to 48.89%improvement over other advanced technologies.Additionally,the average visual information fi⁃delity reached 0.9643,marking a 1.53%to 50.02%enhancement compared to other advanced methods.The method presented in this paper makes the edges of the images displayed on electrowetting electronic paper clearer and improves the detail and texture,thereby enhancing the readability of the electrowetting electronic paper.
