摘  要:Dear Editor,Maize(Zea mays L.)is one of the most widely cultivated crops worldwide(Ranum et al.,2014),accounting for about 37.2%of the global cereal crop production.Maize production yield has increased over sevenfold since single-cross maize hybrids were deployed in the beginning of the last century(Andorf et al.,2019).
