摘  要:采用直径为9 mm的球形硬质合金弹体撞击100 mm×100 mm×10 mm的蓝宝石(α-Al_(2)O_(3))靶体边缘,研究了不同撞击速度下蓝宝石靶体材料的损伤行为。利用高速相机测量弹体速度,记录蓝宝石裂纹扩展过程。利用镜像法研究了蓝宝石靶体材料次生裂纹萌生与应力波传播的关系。结果表明:靶体材料粉碎区面积增大速率随撞击速度增加而增大,并随时间增大而减小;次生裂纹的萌生与材料内的应力波传播速度相关,主裂纹传播路径上的反射拉伸纵波和反射拉伸纵波与横波交叠区域易萌生次生裂纹;次生裂纹的萌生会延缓主裂纹的扩展速度。The failure behavior of sapphire with different impact velocities is studied by the impact experiments ofΦ9 mm ball-shaped cemented carbide projectiles on the edge of 100 mm×100 mm×10 mm sapphire targets.High-speed camera is used to measure the velocities of projectiles and record the crack propagation processes of sapphire.The relationship between secondary crack initiation and stress wave propagation in sapphire is studied by the image method.The results show that the increase rate of area of the crushed zone increases with the increase of impact velocity and decreases with the increase of time.The initiation of secondary cracks can delay the growth rate of the main cracks.The initiation of secondary cracks is strongly related to the propagations of the stress waves in the material.The reflected extension longitudinal waves on the path of main crack propagation and the overlaps of the reflected extension longitudinal waves and transversal waves are easy to produce secondary cracks.
