How Digital Trade Openness Promotes the Development of New-Quality Productivity

摘　　要：基于2014—2022年中国30个省份样本,实证检验数字贸易开放与新质生产力之间的影响效应和作用机制。研究结果发现:数字贸易开放对新质生产力发展具有正向促进作用,这一结论在经过一系列稳健性检验与内生性检验仍然成立。机制检验结果表明,数字贸易开放能够以营商环境改善和产业结构升级为中介,间接推动新质生产力发展。异质性检验结果表明,数字贸易开放对东部与中部地区、高数字经济活力省份新质生产力发展的推动作用更强。根植于此,提出塑造数字贸易对外开放新环境、构建营商环境新生态与绘就新质生产力发展新蓝图的政策建议,希冀为加快发展新质生产力提供理论指导。Based on a sample of 30 provinces in China from 2014 to 2022,this study empirically examines the impact and mechanism between digital trade openness and new-quality productivity and its underlying mechanisms.The research results reveal that digital trade openness significantly promotes the development of new-quality productivity,and this conclusion still holds true after a series of robustness and endogeneity tests.The results of the mechanism test indicate that digital trade openness can indirectly promote the development of new-quality productivity through improvements in the business environment and industrial structure upgrading.The heterogeneity test results indicate that the opening-up of digital trade has a stronger driving effect on the development of newquality productivity in the eastern and central regions,as well as in provinces with high digital economic vitality.Rooted in this,policy recommendations are proposed to shape a new environment for digital trade opening-up to the outside world,create a new ecology for business environment,and draw a new blueprint for the development of new-quality productivity,hoping to provide theoretical guidance for accelerating the development of new-quality productivity.
