摘  要:《博物馆与教育:目的、方法及成效》一书基于“如何证明博物馆的教育影响力”这一关键问题,开发出适用于博物馆、档案馆、美术馆的通用学习成果框架,以此回应新世纪的英国博物馆能够在建设平等和包容的社会中发挥出重要作用。该书被视作英国博物馆界的一场新评估革命,为之后英国博物馆明确教育角色和构建学习理论奠定坚实基础。书中所探讨的个人身份认同与博物馆之间的关系可为当下思考“博物馆热”背后的深层原因带来启示,为探索多元、动态、包容的教育角色提供思路。The book Museums and Education:Purpose,Pedagogy,Performance addressed a key issue:"How to demonstrate the educational impact of the museum?"It developed a framework for calibrating learning outcomes across museums,archives and galleries.The findings indicated British museums have shown their capacity to contribute to building a more equitable and inclusive society.Some experts have commented that this book has sparked a new evaluation revolution within the UK museum sector.It offers a structured evaluation framework that assists UK museums in reflecting on their educational missions and in building learning theories.Furthermore,the discussion on the relationship between self-identity and museums can inspire Chinese museum professionals and staff to delve into the main causes of the'museum fever'and to seek pathways toward fostering a diverse,dynamic,and inclusive image for museums.
