摘  要:The global water cycle intensifies under climate warming,with an increase in global mean precipitation as well as extreme precipitation over many regions(Trenberth,1999;Chen and Sun,2017;Douville et al.,2021;Yin et al.,2024).In addition,precipitation has become increasingly volatile in recent years.For example,both California and the Horn of Africa were hit by floods in 2023 immediately following prolonged multi-year droughts.
