掺杂不同稀土氧化物的Ga_(2)O_(3)-B_(2)O_(3)-ZnO-TiO_(2)-Tb_(2)O_(3)玻璃制备及磁光性能

摘  要:采用高温熔融法制备了掺杂不同稀土氧化物(Pr_(6)O_(11),Ho_(2)O_(3),Dy_(2)O_(3))的Ga_(2)O_(3)-B_(2)O_(3)-ZnO-TiO_(2)-Tb_(2)O_(3)玻璃。研究了掺杂不同稀土氧化物对Ga_(2)O_(3)-B_(2)O_(3)-ZnO-TiO_(2)-Tb_(2)O_(3)玻璃的结构、物理性质、光学性质和磁光性质的影响。掺杂不同稀土氧化物后,玻璃的密度、折射率和Verdet常数均有所增加。随着入射光波长和温度的增加,玻璃的Verdet常数的绝对值逐渐降低。在温度为298.15 K、入射光波长633 nm的条件下,当Tb_(2)O_(3)和Ho_(2)O_(3)的掺杂摩尔分数分别为40%和1%时,玻璃的Verdet常数达到-156.45 rad(/T·m),高于商用的Tb_(3)Ga5O_(12)晶体(-134 rad(/T·m));温度为298.15 K和入射光波长为515 nm时,玻璃的Verdet常数达到-189.80 rad(/T·m),这表明其在光电功能材料领域具有潜在的应用价值。Ga_(2)O_(3)-B_(2)O_(3)-ZnO-TiO_(2)-Tb_(2)O_(3) glasses doped with different rare-earth oxides(Pr_(6)O_(11),Ho_(2)O_(3),Dy_(2)O_(3))were prepared using the high-temperature melting method.The effects of doping different rare-earth oxides on the structure,physical properties,optical properties,and magneto-optical properties of Ga_(2)O_(3)-B_(2)O_(3)-ZnO-TiO_(2)-Tb_(2)O_(3) glasses were studied.After doping with different rare-earth oxides,the density,refractive index,and Verdet constant of the glass all increase.As the wavelength of incident light and temperature increase,the absolute value of the glass’s Verdet constant gradually decreases.At a temperature of 298.15 K and an incident light wavelength of 633 nm,when the doping amounts of Tb_(2)O_(3) and Ho_(2)O_(3) were 40% and 1% respectively,the Verdet constant of the glass reached−156.45 rad(/T·m),which is higher than that of the commercial Tb_(3)Ga5O_(12) crystal(-134 rad(/T·m)).At a temperature of 298.15 K and an incident light wavelength of 515 nm,the Verdet constant of the glass reached−189.80 rad(/T·m),indicating its potential application value in the field of optoelectronic functional materials.
