摘  要:拜如尼亚(Byronia)是一类内壁光滑、外壁具环脊与纵脊的磷质或有机质管状化石。由于较少完整个体的发现而导致不同发育阶段标本的识别困难,其个体发育研究相较于系统分类与亲缘关系研究进展较少。最近在贵州松桃寒武系清虚洞组经过逐层采样及酸解处理获得大量微体管状化石Byronia,通过研究其显微结构发现:管径大小和纵脊的清晰度差异或许能区分Byronia幼年和成年管体;管外壁环脊下方具有与之平行的生长纹,同一环脊两侧分别具有长、短纵脊,这些纹饰可能指示了Byronia生长方向;管内壁的三种生长纹可能代表了不同生长阶段。基于以上显微结构,本文对Byronia管体的形成过程进行了初步重建,这为Byronia的个体发育研究提供了新信息。Byronia is a type of phosphatic or chitinous tubular fossil,distinguished by its smooth inner thecal surface,and the outer thecal surface which is ornamented with both transverse and longitudinal ridges.Compared to the studies on its systematic palaeontology and affinity,the study on the ontogeny is relatively lag behind.Recently,numerous micro-tubular fossils of Byronia were discovered from the Tsinghsutung Formation in Songtao County of Guizhou Province through the acid-dissolution procedure.Microstructural study reveals:1)Tubes in early growth stage and adult tubes may be distinguished by the size of the tube diameter and the clarity of longitudinal ridges;2)The growth lines are parallel to the underside of the transverse ridges on the outer surface of the theca,and the long and short longitudinal ridges are on both side of the same transverse ridge respectively.These ornamentation may indicate the growth direction of Byronia;and 3)The presence of three kinds of distinct growth lines on the inner surface of the tubes may represent different ontogenetic stages.Based on these microstructural observations,a preliminary model of Byronia's tube formation has been constructed,probably shed a light on the ontogeny of Byronia.
