摘　　要：全球化时代,我国发展越来越处在一个巨大地理空间场域中。在此形势下,边疆的“空间”价值前所未有地凸显,对中国式现代化深入推进具有举足轻重的特殊战略意义。但在内外因素交织下,边疆及其治理面临诸多掣肘与风险挑战,是中国式现代化的战略短板。解决现有与应有矛盾,关键在推进治理现代化。因传统差序与内敛式治理愈发面临突出挑战,因此,推进边疆治理体系和治理能力现代化,成为中国式现代化的重大时代命题。其中,中国式现代化是推进边疆治理现代化的政治指针与方向指引。在中国式现代化“全局”框架与人民性本质“方向”引领下,推进边疆政治治理现代化坚持党的领导、全过程人民民主与依法治边的有机结合,经济治理现代化以高质量发展为首要任务,文化治理现代化以中华民族共同体建设为主线,社会治理现代化以安全稳定为底线,生态治理现代化以筑牢生态安全屏障为使命,从而全面支撑与促进中国式现代化。In the era of globalization,China's development is increasingly situated in a huge geographical space.Under such circumstances,the“spatial”value of the frontier area has been unprecedentedly prominent,which is of great strategic significance to the further promotion of Chinese-style modernization.However,under the interweaving of internal and external factors,the frontier area and its governance are faced with many constraints and risk-induced challenges,which is the strategic weakness for realizing Chinese-style modernization.To solve the existing and all the relevant contradictions,the key is to promote the“modernization”of governance.As the traditional differential order and the introverted governance are increasingly facing severe challenges,promoting the modernization of the system and capacity for governing the frontier area of China has become a major historical proposition of Chinese-style modernization.Among them,Chinese-style modernization is the political pointer and orientation guide to promote the modernization of the frontier governance.Under the guidance of the“overall”framework of Chinese-style modernization and the“people-centered orientation”as the core,the promotion of the modernization of the political governance in the frontier area should uphold the unity between the Party's leadership,the whole-process people's democracy and the law-based governance.The modernization of economic governance takes the high-quality development as the primary task,the modernization of cultural governance takes the building of the community of the Chinese nation as the main approach,the modernization of social governance takes security and stability as the bottom line,and the modernization of ecological governance takes the construction of the ecological security barrier as the mission so as to comprehensively support and promote Chinese-style modernization.
