欲望与冲动:物叙事视角下的《查泰莱夫人的情人》

摘　　要：受思辨实在论和各种物论观点影响,物叙事成为文学研究的一个重要课题。劳伦斯在《查泰莱夫人的情人》中描写了大量的物,大致可以分为自然之物,人造之物和欲望之物。自然之物作为人物活动的背景存在,以其自身的特性影响着人物的行为活动,推动叙事进程;人造之物展现人物的内心世界,是人物情感外化的工具;欲望之物则通过人的物欲追求,向我们呈现了人的异化历程,揭示作品主题。通过探求劳伦斯笔下物的力量及其意义,分析物与人的互动以及物的社会属性,可以更好地把握小说中所隐含的深意。Influenced by speculative realism and various views of object theory,object narration has become an important topic in literary research.Lawrence describes a large number of things in Lady Chatterley’s Lover,which can be roughly divided into natural things,artificial things and desire things.As the background of the character’s activities,the natural things affect the character’s behavior and promote the narrative process with their own characteristics.Artificial things show the inner world of characters and are tools for the externalization of characters’emotions.The thing of desire presents us the process of human alienation and reveals the theme of the work through the pursuit of human material desire.By exploring the power and significance of Lawrence’s objects,analyzing the interaction between objects and people and the social attributes of objects,we can better grasp the deep meaning implied in the novel.
