《徐霞客游记》对西南地区土司纷争的记载及史料价值

摘　　要：作为晚明社会的著名旅行家之一,徐霞客以其所撰的《徐霞客游记》闻名于世,而《徐霞客游记》的诞生也引起了学界对这部书籍的系列研究。然而在目前学界相关研究中,绝大多数研究成果均围绕文学价值、地理学价值、文化价值等方面解读《徐霞客游记》,少有研究关注该书所记载西南地区土司纷争背后的史料价值。梳理《徐霞客游记》所记载西南地区土司纷争,可以看出,该书对于西南地区土司纷争的记载,一方面,揭示了土司制度所具有等级性、割据性的制度弊病及其造成边疆社会动荡的政治恶果;另一方面,则揭示了晚明统治者治理失策、昏聩无能的政治乱象,这对于深化土司制度及晚明社会研究无疑有着重要意义。As one of the famous travelers in the lateMing Dynasty society,Xu Xiake is famous for his book Tavel Notes of Xu Xiake,and the birth of Tavel Notes of Xu Xiake has also sparked a series of academic studies on this book.However,in current academic research,the vast majority of research results focus on interpreting Tavel Notes of Xu Xiake in terms of literary value,geographical value,cultural value,and other aspects.Few studies have paid attention to the historical value behind the tribal disputes recorded in the book in the southwestern region.By reviewing the records of the Tusi disputes in the Southwest region in the travelogue of Xu Xiake,it can be seen that the book,on the one hand,reveals the hierarchical and separatist institutional drawbacks of the Tusi systemand the political consequences of causing social unrest in the border areas,on the other hand,it reveals the political chaos of the late Ming rulers’mismanagement and incompetence,which is undoubtedly of great significance for deepening the study of the Tusi system and late Ming Dynasty society.
