With the continuous deepening of clinical research on gut microbiota, more and more studies have found that gut microbiota plays an important role in maintaining human health and regulating diseases. The interrelationship between gut microbiota and coronary heart disease is gradually being recognized, providing new directions for the treatment of coronary heart disease.Traditional Chinese medicine has the therapeutic advantage of multiple components and targets, and has a significant effect on the prevention and treatment of coronary heart disease. However, the specific mechanism of action is not yet clear. This article reviews the research on the intervention of single traditional Chinese medicine and traditional Chinese medicine formulas in coronary heart disease and its risk factors by regulating gut microbiota from the perspective of gut microbiota. The aim is to provide a certain reference basis for further exploring the relevant mechanisms of traditional Chinese medicine regulating gut microbiota intervention in coronary heart disease.
