摘　　要：文章以伦敦新旧中国城为例,探讨华人移民聚落的形成、发展和遗产化现象,旨在探索华人群体在不同历史时期的生产生活状态及其对遗产化的影响,进而填补前人以人口和媒体研究为主导致的空白,理解海外华人聚落遗产化面临的困境。通过文献史料分析和田野调查,文章认为:伦敦华人的“失语”、以餐饮为主的家庭经营方式和政府移民友好政策的缺失,导致了中国城遗产化中的华人话语缺失。中国城的移民文化身份及其对建筑文化的影响,并未纳入官方遗产化体系和价值评估。研究认为,非物质文化因素也应成为建成遗产的考量因素和申请遗产的主题。This study examines the establishment,progression,and heritage transformations of Chinese immigrant communities using London's Limehouse and Soho Chinatown as case studies.The objective is to scrutinize the socio-economic conditions of the Chinese diaspora across different historical epochs and its implications on the heritagization processes.This research seeks to address gaps in the existing body of literature,which has been predominantly focused on demographic studies and media analysis.The study argues that factors such as the muted expressions within the London Chinese community,the prevalence of family-run enterprises,particularly in the culinary sector,and the absence of immigration-friendly governmental policies and attitudes,contribute to the lack of Chinese narrative in the heritagization of Chinatowns.The cultural identity of immigrant communities in Chinatowns and their impact on architectural culture have been overlooked in official heritage frameworks and assessments.Thus,the investigation posits that intangible cultural aspects have become pivotal considerations in the evaluation of built heritage and serve as central themes in heritage applications.
