晚清民国通俗小说中《红楼梦》说唱的功能与意义  

The Function and Significance of Talking and Singing in A Dream of Red Mansions in Popular Fictions of Late Qing Dynasty and Republic of China

摘　　要：晚清民国通俗小说中出现多篇《红楼梦》说唱书段,涉及扬州清曲、弹词开篇、大鼓书等曲种。这些说唱有的是小说作者独创,后被收录或发表;有的是当时十分流行的“红楼”书段;有的则至今未被发掘整理,仍沉寂于小说之中。它们在小说中至少有三重功能,一是具有塑造人物、推动情节的叙事功能;二是具有丰富《红楼梦》说唱文学的功能;三是无形中起到了传播“红楼”故事的作用。从小说描写看,这些“红楼”书段被不同阶层的人们喜爱,得到广泛传播,从中可以管窥到说唱艺术演出场所和人们听书方式的发展变化。而大鼓书《黛玉悲秋》等还在小说《啼笑因缘》的衍生作品话剧、电影、戏曲中被演唱,折射出《红楼梦》说唱的无穷魅力。In the popular fictions of the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China,there appeared many talking and singing passages of A Dream of Red Mansions.They involve Yangzhou Qingqu,Tanci introductions,drum book and so on.Some of these passages were written by fiction writers and was published or adopted by other writers,some were excerpts from A Dreams of Red Mansions,others still exists in fictions without being recognized by people.Their appearance in the novel has at least three functions:the first one is the narrative function of shaping the character image and promoting the development of the plot;secondly,it enriches the talking and singing literature of A Dream of Red Mansions;and thirdly,it invisibly spreads the story of the A Dream of Red Mansions.In the novel,these segments of A Dream of Red Mansionsare loved by people of different classes,and have been widely disseminated among various social strata,providing a glimpse into the evolution of talking and singing venues and people's listening habits.In reality,the drum book“Daiyu Laments Autumn”is sung in the drama,film,and opera of Romance of Tears and Laughter,demonstrating the charm of the talking and singing passages in A Dream of Red Mansions.
