关于“现代化”研究的几点反思

摘　　要：学术界关于“现代化”问题的研究虽取得丰硕成果,但在人类现代化的共同特征与普遍规律、欧美现代化在工业化、城市化、世俗化、民主化、教育科技、社会治理、对欧美、苏联和拉美等地区现代化进程中经历过的挫折与失败的系统研究等方面还存在明显不足。本文深入分析各国现代化的模式与差异,阐释“欧美现代化”在历史上的文明进步以及产生的野蛮悖论,探究欧美现代化对中国式现代化的启发意义。Although the academic research on"modernization"has achieved fruitful results,there are still obvious deficiencies in the research on the common characteristics and universal laws of human modernization.There is a lack of comprehensive research on European and American industrialization,urbanization,secularization,democratization,educational technology,social governance within the context of modernization.Furthermore,systematic investigations into the setbacks and failures encountered during modernization process in Europe,the United States,the Soviet Union and Latin America are insufficient.This paper provides an in-depth analysis of the patterns and differences of modernization across various countries,explains the historical progressive role and paradoxes of"European-American modernization",and explores the enlightening significance of European-American modernization for Chinese-style modernization.
