摘 要:激进叫声是动物为了争夺有限的资源向对手发出的叫声,用于维持社群稳定.尽管很多研究显示蝙蝠的交流声波复杂多样,然而,仅少数研究对蝙蝠的激进叫声类型进行了准确分类.以大耳菊头蝠(Rhinolophusmacrotis)为对象,通过录制其激进叫声,基于声波频谱形状对其音节类型进行分类.同时,测量频谱参数,对测量的参数进行主成分分析和判别分析,验证其分类的准确度以及检验个体标签.结果表明,大耳菊头蝠激进叫声具有2种简单音节和6种组合音节.判别函数的正确分类概率显著高于随机分类概率(P<0.001),表明分类结果较为准确.此外,大耳菊头蝠激进叫声的5种音节类型具有显著个体标签特征.本研究率先对大耳菊头蝠的激进叫声音节类型进行划分,为进一步开展激进叫声发声机制及其功能的研究奠定基础,同时为蝙蝠交流叫声的进化研究提供基础数据.Aggressive calls are the sounds made by animals to their opponents in order to compete for limited resources and are used to maintain community stability.Despite many studies showing that the communication calls of bats are complex and diverse,only a few have accurately classified the types of aggressive calls of bats.In this study,the big-eared horseshoe bat(Rhinolophus macrotis)was selected as the object to study the characteristics of the aggressive calls.The aggressive calls were recorded and then were classified into different syllable types based on the spectrogram shapes.Meanwhile,the spectral parameters were measured,and the principal component analysis and discriminant analysis were performed on the measured parameters to verify the accuracy of the syllable classification and examine individual signatures.Acoustic analysis and spectrotemporal decomposition of the aggressive calls revealed a rich communication repertoire comprising 2 simple syllables and 6 composites.The correct classification probability of the discriminant function was significantly higher than that of the random classification probability(P<o.001),indicating that the classification results were relatively accurate.In addition,the five syllable types of the aggressive calls had significant individual signatures.To our knowledge,this is the first study demonstrating the syllable types of aggressive calls of the big-eared horseshoe bat.This study has laid a foundation for further research on the vocalization mechanism and function of aggressive calls,and has provided essential data for the study of the evolution of bat communication calls.
