摘 要:文章以某高校家畜繁殖技术英语教学为例,研究了不同英语教学模式对学生学习效果的影响。选取2021级动物科学专业的171名学生为研究对象,随机分为试验组(85人)和对照组(86人),并分别从每组中选取4名学生进行访谈。试验组采用强化型英语教学,结合文献研读、案例分析、学术写作模拟和国际会议演讲训练等教学活动开展教学;对照组采用常规英语教学,通过专业术语讲解、文章结构分析和翻译练习等传统方式开展教学;采用课程成绩、问卷调查和半结构化访谈方式来评价两组的教学效果。结果表明:两组学生在学习成绩和学术能力方面差异不显著(P>0.05),但试验组学生在实践能力、学习态度和课程反馈方面极显著优于对照组学生(P<0.01或P<0.001),且接受访谈者普遍认为个性化反馈在提升作业质量方面的关键作用。说明在课程专业英语教学中,增强互动性和实践性活动与个性化课程反馈可有效提升学生的综合能力。This study takes the professional English teaching for Livestock Reproduction Techniques course at a certain university as an example to investigate the impact of professional English teaching models on students’learning outcomes.171 students from the 2021 Animal Science cohort program were selected as participants and randomly divided into an experimental group(85 students)and a control group(86 students),in which four students of each group would be asked for interviews.The experimental group was taught by using an enhanced English teaching of incorporating activities such as literature review,case analysis,academic writing simulations,and international conference speech training.The control group received a conventional English teaching of focusing on professional terminology explanation,article structure analysis,and translation exercises.The teaching effectiveness of both groups was evaluated through course grades,questionnaires,and semi-structured interviews.The results showed that there was no significant difference(P>0.05)between the two groups in academic performance and academic ability.However,students in the experimental group significantly outperformed those in the control group(P<0.01 or P<0.001)in practical skills,learning attitude,and course feedback.Interviews revealed that personalized feedback played a critical role in enhancing learning outcomes.It could be concluded that in professional English teaching,increasing interaction and practical activities,along with personalized course feedback,can effectively improve students’overall abilities.
