摘  要:在莫洛亚的众多传记作品中,《雨果传》是最能代表其传记艺术的作品之一。他在刻画雨果形象时保持审慎的写作态度,不仅忠实呈现雨果的艺术与生活之间的界限,还通过描写雨果的政治活动表现其人道主义精神,试图还原一个复杂、立体且真实的雨果形象。莫洛亚认为,生活中的雨果并非完美无瑕,但他在文学上的伟大成就才是更值得关注的。总之,通过对雨果的情感经历、文学成就和人道主义精神的生动呈现,莫洛亚塑造了一个虽不完美但却堪称伟大的巨人形象,表达了对传主的崇高敬意,也体现了他对传主形象真实性的艺术追求。Among Andre Maurois's numerous biographies,Victor Hugo is one of the most representative works of his biographical artistry.He maintained a cautious writing attitude when depicting the image of Hugo,not only faithfully presenting the boundary between his art and life,but also expressing Hugo's humanitarian spirit through depicting his political activities,attempting to restore a complex,stereoscopic,and authentic image of Hugo.Maurois believes that Hugo in life is imperfect,but his great literary achievements are more worthy of attention.In short,through his deep description of Hugo's emotional experiences,literary achievements,and humanistic spirit,Maurois has created the image of a giant who,though imperfect,can be considered great,expressing his deep respect for the subject while also reflecting his artistic pursuit of the authenticity of the subject's portrayal.
