摘 要:以不同碳链长度的氢键超分子液晶4-烷氧基苯甲酸为向列相基体,通过掺杂不同比例手性剂诱导其螺旋自组装形成胆甾相液晶,构建了苯甲酸超分子胆甾相液晶体系。通过系列测试表征了各液晶化合物结构和液晶相行为,系统研究了苯甲酸超分子液晶化合物基体碳链长度和手性剂掺杂量对手性液晶相行为的影响。结果表明:在苯甲酸超分子液晶中加入手性掺杂剂后化合物表现出手性液晶性能。由于手性分子的手性诱导作用,促使液晶相分子螺旋分层排列,液晶相从原本的向列相转变为胆甾相,并且随着手性掺杂剂比例的增加,液晶相各向同性温度降低,液晶相的温度区间逐渐收窄,此外,碳链长度增加将会降低体系各向同性温度。A hydrogen bonded supramolecular liquid crystal 4-alkoxybenzoic acid with different carbon chain lengths was used as the nematic matrix,and the helical self-assembly of the crystal was induced to form a cholesteric liquid crystal by doping with different proportions of chiral agents,constructing a benzoic acid supramolecular cholesteric liquid crystal system.The structure and liquid crystal phase behavior of various liquid crystal compounds were characterized through a series of tests,and the effects of the carbon chain length of the matrix and the doping amount of chiral agents on the chiral liquid crystal phase behavior of benzoic acid supramolecular liquid crystal compounds were systematically studied.The results showed that the compound exhibited chiral liquid crystal properties after adding chiral dopants to the benzoic acid supramolecular liquid crystal.Due to the chiral induction effect of chiral molecules,the liquid crystal phase molecules are arranged in a helical layered manner,and the liquid crystal phase transitions from the original nematic phase to the cholesteric phase.As the proportion of chiral dopants increases,the isotropic temperature of the liquid crystal phase decreases,and the temperature range of the liquid crystal phase gradually narrows.In addition,an increase in carbon chain length will lower the isotropic temperature of the system.
