摘　　要：利物浦是英国典型的海港城市,近代航运业的勃兴为城市滨水区带来了巨大的发展空间。随着利物浦城市经济发展的转型,滨水区功能的变迁成为城市功能结构调整的重要组成。本文通过对英国利物浦滨水区功能转型的历史考察,对其发展脉络进行梳理并总结出从生产空间向公共空间转向背后的动力因素及其发展规律。As a major seaport,Liverpool’s waterfront has historically been vital to its shipping industry.However,with shifts in the city’s economic landscape,the waterfront’s function has evolved,becoming a central element of urban restructuring.This article reviews the historical transformation of Liverpool’s waterfront,examining the factors and mechanisms that have driven its shift from industrial production space to public space.
