摘　　要：We frequently encounter patients with similar histories.One such patient recounted her experience,expressing confusion.She underwent ovarian cyst surgery a few years ago,got married subsequently and later discovered she was infertile.Upon visiting the hospital for a checkup,she was diagnosed with hydrosalpinx or tubal adhesions.Ultimately,the physician informed her that she would need to undergo salpingectomy and subsequent in vitro fertilisation(IVF).In some cases,patients may request preservation of the fallopian tubes during ectopic pregnancy management,opting for embryo removal only.Despite following patient preferences,challenges with natural conception or successful IVF outcomes may persist.Ruptured and fluid-filled fallopian tubes can be identified as significant barriers to fertility in such cases,highlighting the complexity of postsurgical reproductive health management.
