摘  要:混淆相似药品名称容易导致用药错误,对相似药名进行文本增强设计是降低药名视觉混淆的常用方法之一。然而,很少实证研究聚焦在中文相似药名视觉区分中的药名文本视觉呈现机制影响。本研究采用三因素组内实验设计方法,验证文本增强(加粗、红色、反衬、放大、无增强)、药名长度(长、短)和相似度(高、中、低)对中文相似药品名称视觉区分任务的影响。被试者包括30名医学相关专业学生,他们被要求尽可能快速且准确地判断屏幕上先后呈现的两个药名是否相同。被试者的反应时间、正确率和感知信心被定义为主要因变量。研究结果显示,通过放大相似药名之间的差异部分,可以显著缩短被试者的反应时间;药名长度越长、相似度越高,被试者的反应时间越长。使用文本增强可以显著提高区分药名的正确率;而药名相似度越高,正确率越低。此外,使用文本增强显著提高了被试者正确区分药名时的感知信心。研究结果为使用文本增强突出相似药名之间差异的有效性提供了实证支持。Confusion of similar drug names can lead to medication errors.Text enhancement design for similar drug names is one of the common methods to reduce visual confusion of drug names.However,few empirical studies focus on the impact of text visualization mechanisms in visual discrimination of similar Chinese drug names.Our study adopts a threefactor within-subject experimental design to examine the effect of text enhancement(bold,red,contrasted,magnified,unenhanced),name length(long,short),and similarity(high,medium,low)on visual discrimination tasks for similar Chinese drug names.Subjects consisted of 30 medical-related students are asked to quickly and accurately determine whether the names of two drugs successively presented on a screen are identical.The response time,accuracy ratio,and perceived confidence of subjects are defined as the primary dependent variables.Results show that font magnification in the different parts of similar drug names can significantly shorten the response time of subjects;longer drug names and higher similarity result in longer response time.Text enhancement can significantly improve the accuracy in drug name discrimination,while higher similarity result in lower accuracy.In addition,text enhancement significantly improves the confidence of subjects in correctly discriminating similar drug names.The results can support the effectiveness of text enhancement in highlighting differences between similar Chinese drug names.
