TED演讲中信息元话语的实现方式及元语用阐释

摘　　要：信息元话语是指从信息角度出发,体现说话人对于信息的组织、来源、阐释和立场等方面元语用意识的话语表达,然而目前在TED演讲中鲜有探讨。本研究基于元语用理论,借鉴陈新仁对信息元话语的界定,分析TED演讲中信息元话语的实现方式和语用功能,并探讨不同信息元话语所体现的信息元语用意识。研究发现,TED演讲者通过使用信息立场语、信息来源语、信息阐释语和信息逻辑语管理信息传递,演讲者通过这些信息元话语的选择体现对信息组织、信息可信度和可理解性的元语用意识,确保听众正确理解信息,并与听众建立人际结盟。该研究对于进一步认识元话语的信息调控管理机制,提高公众演讲能力具有一定启示意义。Information-oriented metadiscourses refer to those expressions that reflect the speakers'metapragmatic awareness of the organization,source,interpretation and stance of information.However,it is rarely discussed in TED talks at present.Drawing on Chen Xinren's definition of information-oriented metadiscourse,this study examines the categories and pragmatic functions of them in TED talks,with a view to revealing the metapragmatic awareness reflected by informationoriented metadiscourses from the metapragmatic perspective.It is found that TED speakers manage information transmission through the use of stance indicators,source indicators,explanation indicators and logic indicators.Through the selection of these information-oriented metadiscourses,speakers embody the metapragmatic awareness of information organization,persuasibility and intelligibility,so as to ensure the audience's correct understanding of information and establish interpersonal alliance with the audience.This study has some implications for further understanding the information regulation and management mechanism of metadiscourse and improving the ability of public speaking.
